Mattresses are relatively small in height in relation to the lateral dimension of a gabion and are generally used for channel linings. Normally it was supplied in various lengths,widths and heights.

The tolerances of mattress?imensions are +-3% in wirdth and +-2.5cm in height acc,to related standards.In order to strengthen the mattresses,all edges of the stricture selvedged with a wire of greater diameter.

Usually the mattresses having bigger length than 2meter is divided into compartments by panels (called diaphgram) positioned per1(one) meter.

If diaphgrams not requested,it should be clearly stated by cliend,the mesh used in mattresses strictly conforms to EN10223-3 and A975-97.
